We wish all our customers and business partners a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

BUUS Super Freeze iceflaker
Looking for an iceflaker with ultra low evaporation temperature? As a part of a confidential customer project we have delivered an iceflaker with an extreme low surface temperature. Temperatures down to -80°c (-112°F) are achievable.
The cooling media is silicon based. Ask Frank or Peter for more information.

The picture is showing the evaporator at -77°c.

Tip: Screaming ice makers
If your BUUS iceflaker makes a loud, whining noise you should not ignore it. The reason may be a thin layer of ice between the end cover of the drum and the end gable of the water chamber. The reason is often that the heating element(s) or the thermostat is defect. You may also hear the noise if the iceflaker is placed in a cold room.
If the heating element(s) or the thermostat is broken the cure is straight forward. If the problem occurs in a cold room with working heating elemnts you may choose to equip the iceflaker with an insulation kit and heating elements. Please ask us for advise.

Iceflaker units based on V and VD flake ice machines
Looking for the "good, old Sabroe iceflaker units"? We can now supply V & VD iceflakers equipped on a single frame with Sabroe piston compressors. The units are prepared with a water cooled condenser, ready to be fed with water from a cooling tower.
